Our live auctions may be viewed online approximately one month prior to the sales date followed by several updates. Auction preview dates will be noted with each auction.
20% buyer's premium applies to all Auction purchases unless otherwise noted. We do not offer refunds.
Bidding at the Auction
You must register and obtain a bidding number. We require a valid driver's license. A VISA or MasterCard number is required in order to execute all absentee bids. All items are sold "As is, Where is" and becomes the responsibility of the successful bidder at point of purchase.
If you are unable to attend the auction, you may call 905-937-1751, email us or fax an absentee bidding form to arrange an absentee bid. These bids are executed competitively on your behalf. The earliest received bid will take precedence in case of tie. Faxed bids must be received by 9 p.m. on the day prior to the auction. Buyer Premium is 15% for absentee bids
ALL ABSENTEE BIDS MUST BE SECURED WITH A CREDIT CARD AND SIGNATURE FAXED TO PLATO AUCTIONS 24 HOURS PRIOR TO AUCTION.

Telephone bidding may be arranged on a first come - first served basis. Please call 905-937-1751 or email us to arrange your phone bids. ALL PHONE BIDS MUST BE SECURED WITH A CREDIT CARD AND SIGNATURE FAXED TO PLATO AUCTIONS 24 HOURS PRIOR TO AUCTION. A buyer's premium applies to all Telephone bids. As our phone lines are limited, the earliest received bid will take precedence in case of tie. Bids must be received by 5 p.m. on the day prior to the auction. A buyer's premium applies to all Telephone bids. The Successful Bidder is responsible for shipping costs. NO REFUNDS OFFERED FOR ABSENTEE AND PHONE BIDS
We are happy to offer condition reports on auction lots where practical. Please understand that these reports are generally subjective and examining an object in person is always preferable.
Payment and Collection
For all purchases, payment must be made the day of the sale. Personal checks are accepted from buyers known to us on auction hall purchases only. All items must be cleared from the auction site upon payment unless prior arrangements have been made. All purchases are subject to HST taxes.
Packing & Shipping
Contact Plato Auctions for arrangements. The Successful Bidder is responsible for packing and shipping costs. we ship via Canada Post with Insurance and do ot pre quote shipping costs
