VINTAGE COIN BANKS: Rarest of Canadian coin banks – C 1890’s “Traders Bank of Canada” cast iron architectural model building bank, with Yonge St. and Colborne St. cast on opposing sides, retaining excellent original paint and zinc 4 partition liner! The bank measures 10 ¼” w x 8 ½”h x 5 ¼” deep. Only 1500 were issued and this bank is finer than the example in Ottawa/Hull Museum of Civilization collection. Estimate $1750/$2500; Cast iron J.& E.
